What you need to know when taking part in our quizzes.
Everyone wants a fun night out. No one wants rules. We get it.
Sadly (and annoyingly), a few rules are needed to make sure everyone actually has a good time. There aren’t many, they’re dead simple, but we live in a claims-happy world and like to protect our backsides.
So give these a quick read, behave yourself, and let’s all have a great night.
At Our Quiz Nights
What You Agree To By Taking Part
By joining one of our quiz nights, you agree to the following:
No cheating.
Obvious, right? This includes (but isn’t limited to) Googling answers, messaging or calling friends who aren’t playing, or sneaky peeks at other teams’ answers. Nobody likes a cheat—don’t be that team. Cheaters may lose points or be removed from the quiz entirely.
Photos will be taken.
By taking part, you agree that photos from the night may be taken and used for marketing and promotional purposes, including our website, social media, and other platforms we see fit. If you’d rather not feature in close-ups (we won’t ask why—your secrets are safe), just let the quizmaster know when they swing by.
Heckling is encouraged….
But only if it’s funny. No one enjoys rubbish or abusive heckling (“all of them” in reply to being asked if any questions need repeating is not clever, original or funny FYI).
Don’t be abusive.
Physical or verbal abuse toward the quizmaster or venue staff is a big no. That’s not banter—that’s being a knob—and it’ll likely earn you an early exit.
See? Not many at all.
