Not in a pub quiz
Back in March 2020, the world went haywire and, horror of horrors, the pubs closed. With our beloved quiz nights suddenly off the table, we did what any rational, slightly panicked quiz hosts would do: we taught ourselves to code (badly) and launched our very own online quiz, Not in a Pub Quiz.
Fast-forward a few years, and we’re still going strong. Every Thursday at 8pm UK time, players from across the globe join us for a fun, friendly, completely free online quiz that captures all the pub vibes, minus the sticky tables, dodgy carpets, and that one bloke who always steals your pen.
It’s free to play, though we happily accept donations to help keep the lights on and the streaming audio running. Who knew hosting a quiz online could get expensive?
Joining is easy. All you need is a phone, tablet, laptop, or anything with a browser, speakers, and an internet connection, because attempting it without one is… well, let’s just say it’s a challenge.
